Q: What should I do after registering for the 2021 UAAA Global Cup Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Online Competition?
A: You should have received a confirmation email from UAAA. In this email there is more detailed information about the competition, as well as further instructions about how to use the 2021 Global Cup APP that competitors will use to compete on Jan. 16, 2021. Please email us ASAP at unitedaaaglobal@gmail.com if you registered before the registration deadline and did not receive this confirmation email yet.
Q: What is the format of the 2021 UAAA Global Cup Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Online Competition?
A: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 UAAA Global Cup Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Online Competition will be held entirely online. The competition will take place through the 2021 Global Cup APP which competitors can download after they receive their registration confirmation email. There will also be a live Zoom webinar that competitors and parents should join on the day of the 2021 UAAA Global Cup Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Online Competition (Jan. 16, 2021). The link to this Zoom webinar will be emailed to competitors a few days before the actual competition.
Q: When/What is the 2021 Global Cup Mock Competition?
A: To ensure the day of the competition runs smoothly, UAAA will be holding a MOCK Competition as a run-through where all competitors will compete like they would on the day of the actual competition. The MOCK Competition will be held on Jan. 9, 2021 at 6PM (PST). The live Zoom webinar link and necessary instructions will be emailed to competitors about a week beforehand. Competitors should aim to do as well as they can on this MOCK Competition because the top scorers of each Group will be spotlighted on the day of the UAAA Global Cup Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Online Competition (Jan. 16, 2021).

Q: When is the 2021 UAAA Global Cup Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Online Competition?
A: The official 2021 UAAA Global Cup Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Online Competition will begin on Jan. 16, 2021 at 9AM(PST). Please join us on the Zoom webinar at 9AM on Jan. 16, 2021 for the opening ceremony. Competitors will begin officially testing at approximately 9:30AM(PST) on Jan. 16, 2021. The Global Cup will tentatively end at around 10:15AM PST (SUBJECT TO CHANGE). In addition, competitors will need to participate in the MOCK Competition beginning at 6PM (PST) on Jan. 9, 2021. We also hope to see everyone at the 2021 UAAA Global Cup Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Online Competition Award Ceremony on Jan. 23, 2021 at 6PM (PST) where we will recognize and celebrate all of the hard-working competitors!
